Thanksgiving in New York

Right now there are gusts of 30-40 mph winds, a cold front is moving in with snow squalls and 1-3" snow. Last night it was 24.
The campground, Frost Ridge Campground - Le Roy NY - Fun Family Camping is open year round and has full hookups. The restrooms are heated and clean. We had thanksgiving dinner in town at Welcome to the D & R Depot
about 2 miles away, real nice home cooking, complete home cooked meals under $10. Thanksgiving was really good and they gave us leftovers for today.
The Escape handles the cold pretty well, less condensation with the furnace vs electric heat. There is some sweating around the bed perimeter, I went to local hardware and bought some foam pipe insulation and installed around the bed today. Once home if that does not work plan B is to install reflectix between the bed and the walls.
The spray foam insulation kept the floor warm and the tank heaters kept the fluids moving, all the windows are thermal except for the front, maybe 1" condensation on the front. I'll have to install reflectix between the rock shield and the window to see if that eliminates the issue.
Towed with the Ram, averaged 12-13 mpg using mid range

Is Frost Ridge busy? We arrived here at Trap Pond St. Pk. In lower DE at 12:15PM and were surprised to find the pullthru loop nearly full (25 sites). There are three additional back in loops of 34or35 sites apiece. No one there. One or two diehards in tents. Lots of hiking around with dogs. Temp. To go to 28F tonite. I notice most trailers have hose on city water. We've got a couple of 2 1/2gallon collapsible water bags. Maybe those with hose out consider this a soft freeze. I don't want to blow out lines again.

Notice this morning 11/24 a few trailers in all loops in a thin gathering around the pond. Got trailer count of 29. Only a fifth of sites in use. A few pulled out yesterday.

We left Trap Pond this morning at 8:30, now in Wilmington, NC, and heading farther south tomorrow. We left home in upstate NY after watching the Macy's Thanksgiving parade. One grandson was on the Sesame Street float.

I'm thinking about starting a thread similar to "Sightings", and call it "Near Misses", because that's all we seem to have. There's a casita in the campground with us now, but as usual they never heard of this forum.
