I understand there was a Tin Can Ralleye at the Deming Log Show Grounds in Deming Washington this weekend. Anyone here go?
I'm sure some of the participants will be staying there for another week to attend next weekends 'Summer Fun Run', hosted by The Forth Corner Elites in nearby Bellingham. Almost always at least a dozen or so glass trailers there as well as a gaggle of T-drops, other assorted trailers, motorhomes of various vintages!
The Vintage Trailer Rally that used to be in Demming moved to Lynden fairgrounds last year.

I guess that would account for the rather smallish (20 or so) die hards that attended with some staying on till we got there for the Car Club Campout weekend, held LAST weekend, which drew over 200 cars and many Glass Eggs too?
...seems there still seems to be a small faction of Tin Canners that DO want the event to be held in Deming, thus the TWO events??
p.s. there was even one American attending the Rod Run, camping in a 17ft. Escape, LOL, guess that wouldn'ta been you huh?

Just thought I'd remind folks that the Annual Tin Can Tourist rally aka Fall Gathering is at Camp Dearborn in Michigan Sept. 24...there's lots of vintage trailers, and usually a half dozen or so eggs...would be great to see an entire egg row!!
