Tomkins Campground-Cowenesque Lake, North Central PA

We had a delightful two nights at this Army Corps of Engineers campground just south of Corning, NY. They offer full hook up sites for $40, water and electric only for $30 or tent sites (not sure of that rate). We stayed in the water and electric only, $15 a night with our national parks senior card. Well laid out sites, quiet and clean. The bathrooms/showers are nothing special, but there is a sign warning that they are cleaning less frequently with COVID-19. $20 for 5 bundles of firewood too. Might be out best campground of the year.

Thanks for the tip. COE campgrounds have long been among the best deals in the country. I've not been to Tomkins but it is a good stopover location on my trips to Canada if the border ever reopens. I hope to give it a try next year.
