Thanks for posting this site, Valerie--it'a always helpful to read reviews by real people, especially when the site doesn't take ad money from the businesses. I added a campground that we enjoyed: Fawndale Lodge & RV Resort in Redding, CA (see www.fawndale.com). We stayed there on our way back from BC last month and the owners are absolutely wonderful people and they have put a lot of effort into making their campground beautiful, restful and attractive. It's a small campground (24 RV sites), but on 6 acres, and it's near a lot of great natural attractions: Shasta Lake, hiking, swimming, etc. There were a lot of tent campers there as well, which was nice, and they have several cabins for rent too, which were very clean (we got a tour of the place from the owners). They are off of the I-5 at the Fawndale Exit.

If you stay there, tell them we say hello!
