Washington state camping is closed

Not just the State Parks in Washington state are closed for camping, but also the DNR...department of resources camping and all the Wild Life areas are as well.

Olympic National Park is closed for camping
Rainier National Park does not open for camping until May

All non essential businesses in the state are now closed. So playing tourist and going into fun shops in small towns will not be happening for at least 2 weeks but most likely longer than that.

Everyone in the whole state that is not employed in an essential business is ordered to Stay at Home except for essential activities as of 5:30pm March 23 for 2 weeks for residents and withing 48 hours after that for businesses.

Grocery Stores, pharmacies, medical facilities, auto repair stores, hardware stores, gas stations, utility companies, financial services, car repair facilities, take out food, dry cleaners and laundromats, security services, waste pickup and other essential service business can stay open.

While you can travel through the state and get gas it could be somewhat difficult to find a place to stay overnight. So far they have not closed the Highway Rest areas. Truck stops will be open but the cafes in them have to be take out service only. As far as sleeping in Walmart parking lots or along the streets in a town that, as always, is a town by town check it and see what the local ordinances are. The Casinos are closed.

Check the schedules for WA state ferries, many of them have restricted times and they have some restriction for where you can purchase the tickets with the preferred method buying the ticket online before you arrive. The food service on the ferries is closed. You are requested to remain in your vehicle and not go up on deck or wander around the ferry.

The Black Ball Ferry service from Port Angeles to Vancouver Island BC is suspended thru April 29

All the WA state ferry runs to British Columbia have been suspended thru April 26th

Of course you can not drive into British Columbia unless you are a Canadian citizen or on essential business.
