This weekend my wife and I went to Elk Neck State Park in Maryland. The temperatures in the teens did not scare us away, but they did everyone else; we were the only ones in the park. The park is on a peninsula bordered on one side by the Elk River and on the other by the Chesapeake Bay. The attached picture is of the ice along the shore of the Chesapeake. We're looking forward to going back in the spring.
