For sale is my 13' Compact Jr. Fiberglass camper made by Trails West in 1971. I believe this started as a basic unit as there was no fridge, water heater, stove etc from the factory. Basically it was a sleeping box with a sink. Frame-off rebuild two years ago where I added frame rails and bumper, painted frame, greased axles, replaced floor and lenolium, added refrig, water heater, 12v water pump and aprox. 17 gal fresh water holding tank, 30 amp breaker box w/12v transformer, couch that folds out to twin size bed, many sterilite plastic storage drawers, built-in file cabinet, sit down shower w/8 gal holding tank (could also be used as toilet if desparate), marine canvas for pop-up center, air vent with power fan, LED lighting for running stop and turn signals as well as a 7-pin trailer hookup on a 2" atwood hitch w/lock, door removed and re-installed as were two of the windows using butyl tape to waterproof, front window has an ABS panel pop rivited to protect from rocks etc, right side window was removed and ABS panel installed to block out view of shower area. Can be towed by anything as it only weighs about 1,000 lbs and can be lifted by the tounge and moved around. Clear Montana title... Montana titled sales must be noterized, so sale probably can't be finished on a Sunday or late in the evening.
I towed it from Montana to Florida to Reno after the rebuild and you don't even know it is behind you. Remember it is an older trailer. List of needs.... Inside trim could be added if desired, looks a little unfinished, 12 volt converter is weak - will only run a couple of items at a time unless hooked to a battery (adding a battery hook-up via 7 pin wiring harness), fridge and hot water heater are 110 so must be plugged in to a power source or generator to be used (or use the fridge as an ice box anytime). Shower curtain and curtain frame are being built... never got around to that yet, but working on it now. I would still consider this as a project even though you could go out today and use it, but that is what makes these little trailers so desireable... It is so easy to customize to whatever you desire!
Located at 1050 Hwy 40 in Verdi, Nevada (Reno) 775-354-4504. Could be delivered for cost of travel if not too far. Also posted in Reno Craigslist before, but thought this would be a better forum to post a serious ad. Hope this answers the questions and hope to see you soon. Greg
