1991 Scamp 13 - Stainless Steel Frame $10,500

This is not mine.
Found this on Portland Oregon Craigslist.
1991 Scamp 13' body mounted onto a custom "raised, stainless steel frame". See at...

The frame shows

The frame shows in the pictures but not well. It almost looks like they dropped a 13' onto a flat bed trailer. Better stick a magnet to it, lots of things get called stainless and if a magnet sticks to it it will rust. Also welding can take the "stainless" out of it. It should remain a rose gold after welding and then buff back to silver.

SS Frame

Price may be reasonable but I question that "stainless steel" frame.

Looks like they cut off the original frame and stuck it (crooked) on a boat trailer or something like that. The old frame tongue is cut off and the frame is still there.
I didn't think jalousie windows were on a 1991 either.
Side bath means the floor is rotten over there.
Someone can correct me on the windows as I never followed the 13' that closely.

I was thinking the same. I have a 20 year old gavanized utility trailer that looks the same.
