Hey Bill,

I saw this but can't tell if this is a bathroom model or not. I thought the small window on the hitch side indicated bathroom. Is this correct? If so, I wouldn't be interested. But if it was the bunk version, I definitely would. I'm in Los Angeles so not too far away.

I did have a quick look at it yesterday. No bathroom, no bunk, but big closet/porta potty room; looks like it wouldn't be too hard to remove the wall and put bunks in yourself. No AC, 12V/120V only fridge (must not be original; vents are there for propane). Fiberglass in very good shape without getting a ladder to see the top. Hitch welded to back bumper for luggage/bikes/whatever. If anyone wants, I'll swing back by this weekend and snap some pics and post them.

thanks for the info. Sounds alright but with mods and price, not sure it's worth the drive and the reno. I really appreciate you taking the time. I figure something in AZ or CA will come up in the next 5 months or so. Hopefully sooner!!!

I'm looking for something in the $5-6K range with bunks and bed, AC not necessary, not modded heavily (I like the original design). I was thinking late 90's early 00's because then they wouldn't have been carved up too much.

Thanks again.

Probably a little high in price for the condition, etc. The trouble is, people see the price these units command and want the same money as the nearer new units. A stealership here wants 17,000 for 2012 16 foot scamp, not even deluxe!
