I just saw that ad today, then went back & thought it was gone?
Anyways, why is the body in the 1st shot so wavy looking? Looks like it sat out in the hot sun too long!

Wow, the interior looks very nice, but the 16'rs never have the same 'cute' factor as the 13s. Seems like a good price

We'll see...

Is it just the photo or is the outside fiberglass kind of wavy? In the units that I have seen on the net for sale, it seems like ones with a bathroom are more rare. Vermont is too far away. Every place is too far from KS.

That was my question Cathy! We very rarely find any eggs around the NE, so don't feel alone.

I've seen more Escondido 17s with bath than without but only on the Internet. Mine is the only 17 I've actually seen and Jen B's the only 13 from either Sac City or Escondido production.
To elaborate on the "raking light" comment, there are many reflective surfaces which reveal very small irregularities to the human eye when illuminated at a low angle of incidence. I doubt if this photograph betrays a greater departure in surface regularity on this trailer than it would on any other lit from the same angle.

The listing is gone so I assume it sold. Perhaps a member bought it and we'll get to watch them "make it theirs". Raz

Indeed, the photos for the defunct and current CL listings and the listing here at FGRV appear to me to be of the same trailer. The plywood "backrest" with microwave on top, the flarbar towel rack, clock/radio overhead adjacent range hood, the small window over the sink are common to all ads.

Yup, reposted on the VT Craigs list. Perhaps to get it closer to the top of the pile. Mixed in with snow mobiles and dirt bikes, it doesn't take long to get buried. Raz

We have to buy a tow vehicle 1st, then an egg. Otherwise, with this Burro only 3 or 4 hours away from us (plus being very unusual to find any eggs in the NE), I'd be up there in a NY minute. Those wide body Burros have an 84" long bed! Room for da little woman, me AND da pup!
Oh well, our time will come...

For what it's worth there are two Scamp 16' in NH, a Casita in MA, and a Scamp 5 th wheel in Hudson Falls NY. I'm not in the market but if an interesting project came along..... Raz

Trust me Raz, I am aware of most all eggs around this part of the country. Can't buy one before we get a tow vehicle.
Don't want a 5th wheel, and both Scamps in NH are not the layout we would desire (layout #6 is the one we want if we get a Scamp), but both are in our price range. Casita in MA looks good, but no year given or length, but sounds like what we're interested in. For Casita, we want a Spirit Deluxe. That wide body Burro might do it too, but no use going looking without cash.
Thanks!
Frank

The Burro bed is not superwide at 54" but Frank is absolutely correct about the length. Two dogs fit pretty well at the foot of the bed although there have been nites when I encouraged one or both to find a berth elsewhere. I don't know how many have noticed but Escondido Burro never to my knowledge installed the "over width" lights for trailers over 80" wide. Burros are 92".

Our pup is all of 12#s Jack, but you'd think he was 100#s the way he occupies the darn bed! Grrrr...., wait, that's Buckley, not me. Half the reason we want a decent bed is because I'm 6' (and touch the wall with my toes in our current small trailer), and Buckley needs room. We get an egg, I do NOT want to be squeezed for length!

Understand. Just letting you know what's around. Sounds like you're on top of it. Good hunting. Raz.
