Wow. Seems interesting but not for me. Might be a great project for someone.

Dunnville is south east of Hamilton Ontario if you are curious.

Hymer

Love those trailers but this one is definitely not for those lacking many , many skills and not for the faint of heart . I have decent carpentry skills but lack the multiple skill sets required for this one . Best wishes for whoever takes it on . Lee

Was this a new but never finished camper? No info other than one pic of the unfinished interior front section.

Long story short, yes.

Most likely this was sold at the Erwin Hymer Group North America liquidation auction. I don't know all the sordid details, but basically EHGNA pulled the plug on operations with little notice, leaving numerous trailers at various stages on the production line.

The asking price seems high given that no components are included. For reference, many of us (Hymer Touring owners) bought them from Sicard RV in Ontario for $19,900 CAD. First hand reports from the liquidation auction pegged complete trailers between $12,500-$17,000 CAD, and work-in-progress at varying stages from $2,000 to $7,000 CAD. And then the liquidation company literally gave away shells that they couldn't sell for $100: https://www.therecord.com/news-story...eapus6unor1edk.

Following that, we saw some "entrepreneurs" trying to pass off "trailer kits" consisting of a shell they got for free, an axle they paid $100 for, and a mashup of windows and other parts and pieces.

I hope someone is able to work a better deal on this and put their own spin on the design.
