Up for auction is a 1973 Playpac camping trailer. Its all fiberglass exterior makes it very light and waterproof. There are no leaks. It is in need of work to restore it to its former glory.
The tires will need to be replaced, a section of the floor at the doorway has rotted out, the exterior has had some damage and had been fiberglassed, but very poorly from a cosmetic viewpoint. The fridge and propane tank have been removed, but it still has the furnace and stovetop. The interior wall and ceiling covering is coming off in places, and I can't say for sure that any of the interior or exterior lights work. This has been sitting in storage for years.
The camper's original cushions are long gone, but the ones that are provided are in very good condition and can be arranged in several ways to give varied eating and sleeping space combinations. It has a large privacy room which can be used as a closet, or for a portapotty.
The camper can be restored to a really neat little trailer, but I don't want to mislead anybody, it needs work. If this is your dream project, and you want something you can rework to your exact requirements, this is for you. Good luck bidding.
