I went to visit this trailer. I just want to say this is one of the nicest 1974's I have ever seen. The
paint job is perfect the attention to detail is amazing. As you can see from the pictures in the ad, it was painted to match the classic tow. The inside is the original green. The cushions are recovered, and in very good shape. I really can't find any flaw with this trailer, except maybe the aftermarket
fridge. I really like the street side logo, and seeing it's remains peeking out from the
fridge vent, bothers me. The
fridge is a Tedco, I am not familiar with the brand. Does it normally have only one large vent?
Normally I am not fond of owner mods. Frequently they are just not up to a factory standard. In this case, the mods definitely add value.
I like:
Screen door. How cool is that! The owner has been known to sell the full scale prints for $25. One set is left. I assume it goes with the trailer.
The cargo access hatches on both sides, (water tank is removed).
The 14" vent
Paint job
The cushion on the seat of the gaucho is a split design, (genius!)
The pictures in the following posts are from the visit. My wife came to look at the screen door.
1974 Trillium Trailer, 13 ft., Very nice condition, Travel ready - Alberta Travel Trailers, Campers For Sale - Kijiji Alberta Canada.
This is a 1974 13’
Trillium trailer. It is an excellent example of a very popular travel trailer, in overall excellent condition and very clean. It always received attention to detail, roadworthiness and upkeep by it's owner, and was always kept in covered storage, never abused.
Exterior wise, it has new radial
tires and sports Dodge wheel discs. In 2009 the frame was reinforced, all
windows were re-sealed, and a new roof top air vent was installed. It has exterior
lights, which work off
battery or electric, and water supply is by hose hook-up. A locking exterior door was also added on each side to access storage compartments.
Upon entering the interior there is a custom wooden screen secondary door. All interior walls are in very nice original condition and have not been re-painted. There is a closet, and lots of storage under the bed and the ‘goucho’ bench seat at the front. Amenities include a small sink, a 2-burner
propane stove, a 2-way fridge (propane or electric), and a porta-potty. A new foam mattress was installed in 2004, and sitting areas received new foam cushioning and upholstery.
In short, a very clean, tidy and well maintained unit. The perfect mate for unlimited traveling and touring. The 1960 Dodge pickup shown has been
sold and is not available. Trailer is located in Calgary.
Thanks for looking!
