Sweet!
And double-hull, too...
That would be a good buy for someone with a big enough tow vehicle- I'm guessing it'll go well over 4,000 pounds fully loaded. But what a great four-season camper it must be!

I have never seen one, but I like Biggars. There was one in Calgary for $2500 that I should have gone and taken a look at.

They seem to be a really good deal. If only they had jalousie windows.

We have a few members here who own them and normally have at least one at most of our meets in BC. Francesca your correct they are on the heavy side! Lots of wood inside! Inside they look a bit like an older Bigfoot with the table up front and the side bed that pulls out - some also have the overhead bunk above that pulls down, bathroom in the back rear corner.

I had the pleasure of peeking inside of MarinaB's Biggar at the Nor-West Glass Eggs in Mission BC last year. The wood work and other details were on the intricate/fancy side. Very classy trailer. Not to mention that Marina had it galmped out. (I just told my Mac to learn "glamped" in spell check )
All the wood drives my interest as to the interior condition of this one. Could be a mess. Mess or not, the price is right. Could be a steel if it's good.

We got it this morning! Here are a few pictures. We have quite a bit of work to do to make it our own. Interior is original, the bunk bed is intact. We won't have use for it but it sure is neat to have.

We got the Biggar (dubbed GoBiggarGoHome) unto our backyard yesterday. Plugged it in last night, put in portable heater and dri-eze. Sometime this week we are going to start figuring out what works and what needs work! We are so excited.

Some fun!
Do be sure to check the age of the tires...I didn't see any mention of them in the ad, so presume they're not new. Since most trailer tires die of old age before they show visible tread loss lots of folks fail to recognize when they should be replaced.
Look for the number at the tail end of a string beginning with "DOT". The first two digits are the week-of-the-year. If the whole number's four digits, the tires were made after the year 2000, and the last two digits indicate which year.
If it's a three digit number, the tires are pre-2000 and should be replaced immediately!
Have fun and good luck!
Francesca
