What EXACTLY does craigslist have to do with this?
I buy and sell there every day and have had few issues with it really.
There are people everywhere who are either too busy or too self-centered to concern themselves with following through on commitments but craigslist merely provides a tool,free to use to help people be seen.

Anyway please don't use it if you feel that way,it leaves more room for the rest of us!

Oh. Well, I guess I trust CL all right. But I don't trust all people, and there are people selling on CL and in the local paper and in many other venues... I don't blame the venues but I am cautious.

In this instance, I think if it were a scam I would have already heard back some line of male bovine droppings about being "out of the country but if you'll send the $ I'll ship the trailer". But no such scam messages have come. This one is probably real enough, but either the seller has already sold it or is a dingbat (or both).

I don't use Craigslist because of all of the scams. Maybe you don't pay attention to all of the scams so if you want to use it you can and you can gladly have all the room that I don't take up on Craigslist. Happy scamming!<_<
