Looks like the body shell has been cut off behind the tire well to the frame. Cheaper fix than a new axle maybe .

Casita for sale on CL Surrey, BC Canada
That's the way Casita 16s are supposed to look. They're higher in the back because the frame steps up there. Unlike Scamp, which has an apron extending below the frame, the Casita shell wraps under the floor and on top of the frame. Casita 17s, on the other hand, don't have the raised "dance floor," so the rear of the shell is level with the front.

Thanks for the info Jon. I've seen a lot of Casita's but I guess never one this old.

As the seller states in his Ad there is a logistics issue.
The trailer is registered in USA and as such must be sold in USA - after that it could be legally exported to the Canada if the buyer wished to do so. The tug is registered in the Canada so it must be sold in the Canada - before it can be legally exported & registered in USA.
Neither is a big issue and easily done.
Edited: to correct which was which in regards to registration

: thank you Carol H for taking the time to correct the issues with this person but looks like he now has moved the trailer into Washington and if that is the case then it is $4300 US good buy for someone down that away.

Kootenai Girl, I would like to apologise for being a bit snippy.

Busy trying to help one of your fellow Americans get home by finding him the right MH most Class C's in his price range are real crap and all are leakers, but if he can find the right truck and camper in his price range it will work to as he can take the camper off and use the truck for work.
Well get there, as were getting closer each day.

Still a good deal for someone living in Surrey BC where the ad is based as well. Only a short drive to collect the trailer in Washington. Pretty easy to import a trailer of that age into Canada.

No worries Peter, hope you are feeling better soon.
We quite often get new buyers here who have no idea about the logistics of not being able to buy a US registered trailer in Canada without importing it so good to give them the heads up.

They still make the 16'ers that way. Here's a picture of a 2014 Casita 16SD currently listed on fiberglass-rv-4sale.com
