"Companion" Camper 13 Ft

Just saw this for sale...it's beautiful! But never heard of this trailer before,
any one else hear of it?

I have heard of it! In fact below is a picture of the one I owned.
As you say, the one in your link is beautiful. Mine however was resold before I had the chance to elevate it to that status. Who knows? Maybe it is beautiful now at the hands of it's proud new owner.
Notice the shape in the second picture....reminds me of a giant "Peep" fresh out of the microwave!
I think it would look great done in black and grey with an ominous look reminiscent of the movie "Metropolis"

Oh Floyd, what a coinsidence. I think it is so cute! The owner of one for sale has it in mint condition and I think a great buy. Except it only runs off of 120.

Recall, that these Companion campers were made from the left over outer molds from our own dear CT13s. (Note 1985-86 years of manufacture). A "V" was added to the front under the window and the word Companion was molded into the side. The inside was carpet and wood construction - no double hull on these guys. I think that the frames were also unique - not UHaul design with tubular construction.

I think that would be called the "Park" model.

Exceptionally nice looking inside, but very, very heavy, perhaps too heavy for it's original frame.

At $4300 it seems like a bargain, but maybe the seller isn't telling us something. (see above)

Dunno Bob. I think that there was more over at the uhaulcomper.com site. If / when it comes back up we could poke around in the archives.

Personally, I like the UHaul tail light design from an aesthetics perspective. Too bad they didn't use a tail light from a more reliable source like a car or truck, like some RVs do.

A while back I was browsing Bargman stuff on ebay and found some curved tail light units. I haven't checked the measurements, but they may be something that could be made to fit if necessary. Fortunately I don't have any tail light problems at this time, but it's always good to know of other options. I have a set of the aluminum adapters as a last resort if the need arises. I have added tail/turn lights to my rear mounted bike rack as an extra safety measure too, plus some of that DOT reflective tape.

I don't think so. I doubt they were 2-tone since the seam is vertical and not horizontal. Nice paint job, though.
