GA - 1971? - Trillium 1300 - Front quarter bathroom
This is vintage 13' fiberglass RV trailer, single axle 2 tires plus spare with hub caps. Refrigerator works on propane gas and electric. Factory heater and window A/C. It has a port a potty with private door , sink (needs water tank, always hooked to external water source), two burner built in stove. Crank out windows through out .
The trailer is all fiberglass and does not leak. Camper is well taken care of. There are minor signs of use that are expected of a camper of this year yet still receives numerous compliments on it's condition. Any questions please advise.
NOTE: I am the second owner and have original manufactures spec sheet also the color brochure original.
The trailer weight shows 1500 lbs and can be easily be pulled by a car, no need to have a truck.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1971-13-Trillium-Fiberglass-Camper-/181062657537?pt=RVs_Campers&hash=item2a282ce601
Now here is a strange situation, the trailer is advertised as a 1971, when clearly it is later. It could be as late as 1977. If I could identify the fridge, that would give me a better idea. It looks like an older fridge, but I am just guessing.
Pros:
Front quarter bath
Window in door
Furnace
Fridge
Factory converter (DC Lighting)
Rock guard in good shape
Three door closet
Cons:
No AC Lighting few outlets
9” vent
Not original tail lights
I won't call pro, or con on the air conditioner, instead of an escape hatch.

Good referral, David!
Here's a live link to the E-Bay ad: 1971 Trillium Trailer
Question:
What makes you say that it's clearly a later trailer? Especially from the inside colors/decals/front flap, it looks like it could be that early to me...

1971 Trilliums are a different beast. The front and back windows don't oppen, and the side Jalousie windows only have two panes. This changed in 72. A good example of a 71 is:
Min's Trailer :: 136
Also, even after 71, the logo on the sticker was a trapezoid. It became a parallelogram around 74, I think.
http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...s-38761-2.html
So, since this one has a parallelogram, that would make it at least a 74, but since the fibreglassed logo on the door has a line under it, that would make it a pre 77.
Also, the heater is a later version. In this thread:
http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...ase-56027.html
The older style furnace looked like this:

Gotcha!
A short search turned up another pic of the rear and back windows on a '71:
From : http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...-me-39283.html
And also another obviously misyeared "'71" 4500 that looks like a '78 to me! Check it out at at this link.
I wonder how this happens- unless folks don't have Titles for these trailers. I'd sure ask in the case of the one that's presently for sale on E-Bay!

That 4500 is identical to the two 1978 4500's I own. I am fairly sure that the 4500 was not manufactured in 1971. In fact, I don't recall seeing one older then 1977. Notice that the logo in the door does not have a line under it. I think it was in 1977 that this change was made to the logo.

The point of my "4500" mention was that it's obviously not a '71, either...and I think it's a '78, too. It looks exactly like mine- and wasn't that the year they came out with the table leaf, or was that '77?
My real question was how folks get these numbers so messed up...IF there's a valid Title, the model year will be on it.

Well, I hate to admit it, but I just took the registration that I got with my 73? trailer, which said 1977 and got it registered as a 1977. I did not see any good reason to argue about the year.

If the number on the Title matched the number on the trailer, I probably wouldn't have argued either...but such an anomaly certainly underscores the necessity of checking such things!

The number on the trailer is typically on the inside of the closet door. The closet door has been replaced, and the sticker is gone. As far as I know, there is no other identifying numbers on the trailer. If I am wrong about this, I would like to know.

I don't know about the 1973 models- my '78 (yours, too?) has a medallion to the left of the trailer door with the number on it.
That's all I looked at when I bought the trailer, but come to think of it, one of these days maybe I'll look the tongue over real well...seems like they'd have put it somewhere else a little more permanent, too!

Does the number on the medallion match the one on your closet door, or your registration?
I will take a closer look at mine tonight.

It matches the number on the trailer Title, as well as on the registration.
There's no number anywhere in my closet...

This one looks in better shape than the last eBay offering but the corner bathroom is a space waster as far as I'm concerned. Raz

I agree with you there, Raz- why dedicate so much space for thirty minutes of use a day???

I was using a sort of rounded-up total there...we do all our reading while seated outside-
on lawn chairs, I hasten to add.

The same argument could also be made for multiple bathrooms in a house. You can only use one at a time! Obviously convenience for the owner and guests is the answer, but most people have pretty spacious bathrooms for little time usage.

If I lived in a house with an area of less than 80 square feet inside, it wouldn't have a dedicated potty-place, either.
Privacy is easily managed by the nonuser-step-outside-or-shut-yer-eyes method....

If you ever went into this bathroom and closed the door, you would wonder what it is for. I have one of these trailers. It is going to one of my twin daughters. She is the small one, so she doesn't feel so claustrophobic in it, but I would not be able to sit and close the door. So it would not be very useful to me. She likes it though.
It might make a good sized closet though.

It looks like no one bid on the trailer before the ad expired. It has been reposted:
1972/73 13' Trillium Fiberglass Camper in RVs & Campers | eBay Motors
Now it has one bid at $2000, but the reserve has not been met. I wonder what the reserve bid is? Especially since they want a $2000 deposit 24 hrs after auction closes.
Since the year has been corrected, (sort of). I am wondering if they have read our discussion. Based on the type of furnace, I would still put it later then 1973. Makes me wonder if they have title.
Here is a trailer that I beleve is a 73:
Fabulous Light Weight Trillium Trailer-"Trudy" - Alberta Travel Trailers, Campers For Sale - Kijiji Alberta Canada.
The logo is wrong, but I think it was put on by the owner. Note the style of furnace:
