all i can say is WOW! and do not mistake that for WOOOOOOOOW!!!!! it's much too over-the-top for my simple tastes. it does look like good workmanship, though, from what i can tell. that's a plus.
.....but i keep wanting to give a yell like tarzan when i look at it!!!!!

The ad says that the finish is a 3M wrap system, not paint. I did not know that, I always thought it was paint! Cool (if a little chaotic for my taste) interior finish treatment. I've saved a couple photos for future ideas, such as the wine cork fridge door.
I wonder how long that exterior finish would last, if its very cost effective instead of paint? Could mean that someone could become a 'quick change artist' every few years - FUN!

Plastic Wrap

We considered making a trailer coated in 'plastic wrap'. We put a piece on the front of our tow vehicle for 6 months to test durability. Other than collecting bugs, that did wash off, it was as perfect as any surface.

I believe that color stability is the longer term issue with about 5 years the norm.

This is a source of another vendor.

ORACAL USA : Products : ORACAL 970RA Wrapping Cast Film with Rapid Air ®Technology

One of the colors we tried was chrome, possible to use it to make a faux air stream, the only problem was it looked just like a mirror and blinded you in the sun.

One neat thing is that the flexible stuff is removeable for up to three years.
