The Mini Rovers were built in Charlottesville Va. They were built by Joe Potty a California company that built Boats and Dune Buggy bodies back in the day. They had a facility in Va. This is only the third one that I know of and it is not mine. The Camper is a clone of the Trails West, the only difference I have found is that it has several ribs molded into the lower roof. The frame is heavier than the Compacts and uses 2" square tube for the frame material. It has leaf springs with a 4" drop axle like the Compacts with no brakes. A good trailer to use with a Jeep or other off road vehicle. Empty shell, pop top and frame weigh about 800lbs.

The door end looks slightly different, too. I remember yours was gutted, wasn't it, Eddie? Do you know if it had the same interior?

My TrailsWest has ribs molded in, too, but they are only visible on the ceiling, not from outside. It has a T-shaped rib arrangement, though, so doesn't go all the way to the frame- this one with the two front ribs would be better support.

The two side benches are 75" long and 24" wide and you can sleep front to rear. Sink and range are on the left going in the rear door with a glassed in kitchen counter area. A little closet on right for PP and ice box is mounted over the right wheel well. The shell is not lined the inside walls are painted.
The advertised one looks as if it may have a furnace under the kitchen counter.
I gutted mine and reworked and painted the frame but other projects took priority. I might sell it as-is once the weather warms up. I need the shop space.
