It would be an oven on wheels down here in Georgia.

Not in summer. I grew up in "Winterpeg" - about 3 hours drive from Fargo. Its not all that uncommon to hit 110* (Foreign-height) in August as well as 40 below (which is the same in either "real" temps or in "Foreign-height") in winter.

Black is just NOT a great choice for an RV in summers around there.

(Although it looks nice!) Another issue with black is that it shows EVERY flaw, every imperfection. If the sides are not PERFECTLY straight, white is the best poss color, followed by any light tan, beige, yellow or silver etc. Black is a nightmare from a painter or bodyshop perspective!

Eggs of any color other than white are a bit harder to sell. The buying pool strinks because it can be off-putting. That's why when asked, I suggest painting white and buying decals in the color choice desired and/or paint the wheels and frame.

I'm not a doctor, nor do I play one one TV... but, at "first do no harm."

I'm going with the black tug theory.

My guess as well. Years ago, we looked at a black Casita on a consignment lot. The salesman told us the owner had it professionally painted black immediately after purchase, to match his shiny black Porsche SUV....

same here........Most camp grounds I've been to are under a canopy of trees anyway.....plus it stays cleaner looking than white ?

I also agree with Frederick.....perhaps it was to match a tow vehicle....

I like it too. It looks very sharp and we do most of our camping in the fall. It seems like it would stay a little warmer.

A demonstration that, for some folks, looking cool is much more important than being cool?
