Now if you think $11,500 is a bit much,

take a look at this one for $2000.00 in my eyes this should be going for a cple hundred dollars. Seller says USA Boler located in Victoria, B.C. and it needs Restoration. I have to assume there are those who know how to do this kind of repair because you cannot afford to send it out and have someone else do it for you.

Wow, I think I would offer a couple hundred, and it would not be US$. That's not to say that some of the restoration artists on this forum could not resurrect it!

At least the seller didn't advertise the unit as "ready to camp."

Given there are no pictures of the removed floor and frame the HUGE broken area in the fiberglass hull might just be the least of this trailer's problems.

At least that big crack is a pretty straight forward repair to make. It is not like the ones where the shell is bashed in and major deformation has taken place. But of course it is not worth the asking price and I expect given that it looks to be a junk yard with other junked fiberglass trailers that bargaining for the price is an option. Best time of year to drive down prices

Well this would certainly qualify as a ground up restoration ! Of a parts trailer! Worth more when done but costs more than it's end value !

He'd have to pay ME $2,000 just to haul it away to the wrecking yard.

Priced high, but we've seen far, far, far worse brought back to life. Check out Norm's thread and the entire rebuild here, complete with finished pictures: http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...oof-47443.html
