Nothing comes up with the link, maybe it's been removed. There already has been some discussion on this Uhaul, it's a VT, we called the seller, we were also close to that area a couple days ago but weren't interested enough to go look. The seller did say he had got a lot of calls, and that was over a week ago.

I found the trailer on the Charleston Craigslist so I presumed thats where it was. I have a problem uploading photos. Maybe someone can find it if its in VT.

VT is the model of the trailer, VT16, it's the larger model trailer that uhaul made. I didn't mean Vermont, it was in Hollywood South Carolina, sorry about the confusion.

I guess that clears up the confusion and I learned what a VT 16 is.

Great work in scouting out the campers.
Are you using Search Tempest?

Does it involve a dart board or a crystal ball?

Owner's posting is below. He's a little off base on some of his claims: This Camper is almost identical to "Scamp 13 ft. It is fiberglass and weighs about 1250 lbs. It can be towed with a mini van or even a compact vehicle. It has a shower with porta potti and sink, air, a furnace, cook stove and microwave. There is a solar battery charger on the roof which keeps the battery up. Cable hook up for tv is installed.
- Bob has established that this is a 16 ft UHaul VT camper (13ft box + 3ft to hitch).
- The CT 13 weighs in at 1250. The VT is likely weighing in at 2000-plus lbs.
- No way should a compact vehicle be towing this. It normally requires brakes.
- The battery charger will not keep the battery 'charged', it is just a low level trickle to keep the battery terminals from chalking up.
and for those not familiar with UHauls, this double-hulled, and is smooth walled inside and out, with air space between the hulls.
But if this camper is in good condition, then this is a very reasonable price for a VT. There's not too many of them around (only 200 or so VTs were originally produced). Too bad he didn't post any interior shots.

i suppose we should have went a little out of our way on our trip back north to look at this trailer, but we really aren't interested in owning a Vt, unless one comes up real cheap. Seller said it is located on the road out to Edisto campground, we could have stayed overnight there. Too late now, we're home.

I'm sure the new owners will show up here sooner or later. I'm with you, I wouldn't pay a premium for a VT over another 16 or 17 foot trailer.
Hope you had a great trip.
