But OTOH it has the super-cool opening front and (I assume) rear windows, and the "one big pane tilts" Love-bug-like side windows.

I've always wondered if they stopped putting in those opening front and rear windows because they were especially difficult to keep from leaking (I don't know that but am just guessing due to their large-central-jalousie-pane vs. the curved shell), or just because of expense, or some other reason.

The curved radius frames makes me doubt it is a '75, I'm thinking something newer.

What do you think Raya?

Probably is a '75 - looks exactly like my '76 except that one has the decals. It seems that most '76s have the multi-pane jalousie side windows. Maybe mine was made at the beginning of the year. Scamp history says they made 500 in 1975 & 600 in 1976 - I wonder how many total they made with that window combination.
I'm repairing my windows at the moment and will post a complete list of seals, levers, advice, etc. when I'm done. So far it's going well.

In the back of my mind I'm thinking 1977 for those windows? But it could be '75 or '76 too. That range anyway. I think Roy Kleiner has the front and rear openers; can't remember if he has the single pane dinette vents.

So '75 seems reasonable.

At work now and can't go researching

Old thread, but just seeing it. Love these windows that open upward and outward in our 1977 13' Scamp. Can leave them open even if it's raining. They do leak sometimes, but caulk and tlc keeps it at bay. Lots of broken levers, etc., but it all still works! I would have bought this little gem in a heartbeat last spring if I would have know what prices were going to do a year later!
