I have made several modifications including roof vent cover and extension of the rear bumper. The rear bumper was extended to mount the spare tire so it would not rub on the outside gel-coat. The bumper extension is welded to the frame and has a receiver mounted for carrying a bumper basket Two
tire covers and a full
Casita cover come with it as well. I also made the bed so that it can be used as a double bed or a twin bed. The third picture shows it in the twin bed configuration. So, you can have it in the regular dining configuration as it comes from the factory, double bed or twin bed. I am the one and only owner with the paperwork from the factory. 17' long with high lift
axle, 15" D range tire.
As you can see, I removed the
Casita decals for a cleaner look. If you would like to have the decals on it, they can be cheaply purchased from
Casita. The last picture is a stock photo showing how the interior looks with the table and cushions in place.
This Casita has all of the nice stuff, Bathroom, shower, roof air with heat strip, fantastic fan,
furnace, DSI water heater, larger
refrigerator, two burner stove,
exhaust hood,
awning, outside shower, television, antenna, cable hookup, large fresh water tank and other things. I have kept the
battery charged and checked.
The price is firm. I am not going to travel so, I don't need it. I might think differently if the economy collapses and I wanted to get away. There is no need to contact me with trivial questions or low-ball offers. If you have the means to buy and are genuinely interested I will reply. This trailer cost me $20,700 with taxes and other fees, not to mention the additional money that I have put into it and I am not in such a hurry to sell that I would lose more money from a low-ball
