Vintage Eriba Pan Familia

Not fiberglass, but a nice vintage trailer with great pics:

1976 Eriba Pan Familia Trailer | Stanton, CA | Fiberglass RV's For Sale

Seems misnamed (by American standards, anyway)... 👨👩👧👦👶??

I have no personal knowledge of this trailer. Just found it interesting and passing it on.

Nope note misnamed. The Eriba Pan is one size up from the Puck and the Familia reference is if I am not mistaken in regards to the layout type.

The ad almost reads like a typical scam ad. Vague contact info.

Other than the lack of publicly published contact info the ad looks pretty authentic to me. Lots of pictures and a link to even more detailed photos on Flicker, the price, the trailers known history are all good stuff.

As it is on this list, best practises when selling online anywhere is to never publicly publish your phone number and or email address on the listing. To do so will result in thousands of spam emails and text messages on your phone trying to sell you everything under the sun for years to come. The nice thing about Craigs list and this forum is if you are seriously interested in the trailer all you have to do is click on the listers name to send them an email and ask them to send their direct contact info privately.

My misguided attempt at humor... I believe "pan familia" means "the whole family". But it has only one bed, albeit a large one.

What I missed in my first look is that there is a phone number in the craigslist ad. A craigslist search didn't bring up the ad in any other location, so it is legit. The part of hardly ever used, stored inside, and it was originally in France for many years made me suspicious and wonder how it got to the US. So I was wrong.

LOL it brings a family closer together if they sleep together!

Never wrong, always correct to be on the look out for scam's.
But its funny I still can't see the phone number on the craigslist ad.

In one of the photos you can see it still has the euro plates on it. Eruba's have been made in Germany since the 50's so any you see in NA all had to have come across the big pond one way or another. I seem to recall reading that the Eruba and Airstream (euro version) are now made by the same company in Europe.

Carol; phone number is under "reply" at top left of craigslist ad. I checked the area code and it is for California .
