1700RGH drop knuckle

I want swap a straight axle onto my 17 foot Boler. currently there's a drop knuckle sprung under axle there currently with brakes. I assume this is the factory one - are the brakes fairly universal? the bolt pattern is your standard trailer pattern, 5 on 4.5.

Basically I want to buy an appropriate axle without brakes, and swap on the brakes I currently have as they work fine and new ones are a few hundred bucks.

I'll probably retain the sprung under aspect but I want to gain the extra 3 or 4 inches of ground clearance - I currently have to run a 10 inch drop for the boler to sit almost level when driving - big drops like that are pretty bad for towing weight not to mention the poor ground clearance.

Remember to get the brake flange's on the axle even though you are not getting brakes on the axle.
