1988 Bigfoot 5er

Hey guys. New to the site. I currently don’t have a camper. Just sold my new camper and now looking at a 1988 Bigfoot 5th wheel tandom. My concern is my truck vs trailer height.
I drive a 2015 ram 2500. Will I have issues hooking up?

Also the is a bit of a drive and I currently don’t have a 5th wheel hitch. So I don’t want to invest on a hitch if it won’t work

I owned a 1988 bigfoot 5er. TV 2001 silverado 2wheel drive.For sure you will want a bigfoot that has the axes flipped otherwise not a chance of getting the trailer close to being level. Good luck with your search , they are a great design. I am sorry I ever sold it.

Do what it takes! Those things are really nice.

I did some searching on the forum for you, since I know there are owners here and I haven't seen a bunch of posts from them about not problems making them work with different trucks.

Actually looks like Dodge is a really popular tow vehicle for these things, for some reason.
