I realized yesterday I was selling what I planned to haul our "new" egg home tomorrow, my '09 GMC Canyon. Been trying to sell it for like 3 weeks, and of course,
sold it today. Nice to have cash, but I had not yet wired the new
Escape for a brake controller or trailer power, because I didn't think we would get an egg till next spring. I had bought a 2001 F150 a few weeks ago (maybe 3), but it didn't have a hitch on it. Well, lo and behold, what an easy vehicle to get ready to tow a travel trailer. A plug for the brake controller under the dash, so plug and play there, and plug and play out back for a 7 pin RV connector. Took maybe 2-1/2 hours to wrap up the whole thing. So am now prepared for a trip to New Jersey tomorrow to pick up a 2012
ParkLiner. Who would have thought?!?
