25b25fb axle size question

I had recently purchase a 2008 25b25fb with two broken axles. The trailer is 2100 miles from me, I was hoping to purchase two new axles and bring it to the pick up location.

Can anyone tell me the size of the axle that this 25’ Bigfoot trailer uses?

Thank you in advance.

If you call or email Grant at the Bigfoot Factory, I expect you will get an answer

Just saw this. Our 2007 25b25rq had 2 bent axles (3500#). Don’t know what size but definitely felt the original axles were too light. Went with 6000# and couldn’t be happier.

My 2008 21RB also has 3500 lb axles. They will have data tags on them. Mine were made by Standens in Calgary. If you could get someone to read the numbers to you, you could ask Standens what the specs, or dimensions on the axles are. 6000 lb axles are fine, but you don't want to install 6000 lb springs! Many 6000 lb axles are set up with 6 lug, of course ordering new, you will get options and I would go 6 lug/12 inch brakes and replace all of the wheels (more money but it gets you a higher weight wheel and usually wider also, the tires fit better on the 6 inch rims vs 5˝ wide. I converted mine to six lug hubs and bought new Sendel rims.

Clean the tags thoroughly and then use chalk to bring out the lettering for pics.

How are the axles "broken"?

Stepping up above 3500 lb axles will also require new U bolts, which you should do anyhow, and new plates that the U bolts attach thru, as the axle is larger diameter than the 3500 models.

Attachment is the axle data tag on my 2008 21RB. They are located on the aft side of the axle, on the RH side of the trailer just inboard of the springs.
