Camco levelers work much better than Andersen levelers on tandem trailers

Just curious why you say Camco levelers work much better than Andersen levelers on tandem trailers?
Thanks!

The Andersen levelers are way too long to fit between the tandem tires on my trailer whereas the yellow and black Camco levelers fit nicely. The Andersen levelers worked ok for the single axle tailer I have, although they did slip a lot on gravel and even sometimes on grass. Partially due to having a fairly light trailer at the time.

Ah yes that is true, I have tandems and use the Andersen and they just fit between the tires, and yes they do slip! Thanks!

Listen to what Perry has to say, it is by far the most accurate information presented.

And Andersen says in the instructions that you can cut as much as 4 inches off of one of them if needed, to fit between the tires. I bought the Andersen's and cut about 2½ inches off of one using a Makita circular saw tilted over 30° and it just fits between the tires of my 21 ft Bigfoot and those tires are as close together as you can possibly get.
