My 13.5 Lil Bigfoot has a coupler that looks like it has a locking coupler only there is no key It says AL-KO Kober Corp on it. Does anyone know anything about them and where I could find a key?
Carol, Thanks for the reply.
It's not the original coupler and I tried contacting Kober Corp and the email from the website bounced and now all I can find on-line is 5th wheel hitches. Worst case, I will drill it out so I can put my own lock on it.

Perhaps if you post a photo of it someone while have been there done that.
I'm having trouble getting a picture to show up but I'll try, if you look at the little button close you can see there is a key hole in it which reminds me of an old skeleton key.
Kathy, I never thought about a key way in the button.
I just looked at mine and your right it looks like a keyway.
Give me a few days and I will see if I can come up with something out in my shop.
I don't think I would drill the button out. The botton is a safe guard to keep the trailer coupler positively locked.
It's the safest, best coupler I have ever seen.

Thank you !!! Let me know if it works. The tech at the dealership said there should be a key but they didn't have one.
Have no idea but I wonder if what you may be looking for looks something like this
Carol, I don't know what I'm looking at in that picture but that looks way to big. It's interesting to see that the company is still making different things.
Kathy
Since your hitch is bolted on and not welded it my be easier to just replace the hitch. You should also be able to upgrade to a 2" ball at the same time if you want. I have to replace one that is welded on my older 5th wheel since Va. now requires an external locking pin.
Just measure the tube and you can order what you want from E-trailer or buy locally. I think the hitches run about $20 and you can have it welded or bolted back on.

Eddie, You bring up a good point about state regs changing. I'm sure they would have mentioned it at the dealership if Oregon did at this time. Since they don't and I'm on the other coast I think I'll keep this one for now since it is already a 2" ball. Your fifth wheel hitch must be interesting. I've never looked close at one and never thought about the part on the trailer having a locking mechanism.
