I'm looking at replacing my 2012 mitsubishi outlander V6 with a new 2020 RAV4 hybrid. The specs on the two vehicles are very similar. Curb
weight and horsepower are almost the same. The mitsu is rated to tow 3500lb and the RAV4 hybrid only 1750lb.
I've weighed my
boler at the scale with a full load for boondock camping including my full water capacity and its just over 1600 lbs (including tongue weight) so technically I'd be legal.
Just curious if anyone is using a RAV4 hybrid to tow a
fiberglass of similar
weight and how you find it for handling braking etc?
