25B21 to Michelin LT, (Light Truck) one size upsize a few years ago and they show NO wear after thousands of miles and the trailer pulls better with less bounce and porpoising. There is more tire tread on the ground so the mileage decreased slightly, small cost for a much beefier tire carcass.
Darryl, I am curious how you did this, as Michelin does not make any 15 inch LT tires and I don't see how there is room for 16 inch rims and tires. I installed Goodyear Endurance ST225/75R15 and am quite comfortable with them, as their weight
capacity is far beyond the needs of the trailer and the quality is good. I replaced some 3 year old Hercules tires after one failed, which embedded wires in the tire in front of it, and one of the ones on the other side had cracks in the bottom of the tread running fully around the tire. I retained the one "good" tire to use on a 5x10 utility trailer I have and only use locally. That trailer also got the 2007 Marathon spare from the BF when I changed it out. Its rarely used and only locally so I have no concerns with the tires.
