Camping Choosing By Advantages - Part 3 of 3: Choosing a Tow Vehicle

I have just released part 3 of my video series discussing how we made the decision to transition from tent camping to an RV Travel Trailer.

This is part 3 of a 3 part series about camping and how we chose different parts of our new camping style. Part 1 was focused on choosing between tent camping, popup trailer, RV travel trailer or a camping van. Part 2 was on choosing between a Safari Condo, Scamp, Casita or Escape for an RV camping trailer. This video will be focused on choosing between the following tow vehicles:

Honda Pilot
Toyota Highlander
Toyota Sequoia
Toyota 4Runner
Toyota Tacoma

We used the Lean Method of Choosing by Advantages to help make these decisions.

Your system sounds like a way to organize what everyone would consider in a decision of this nature, as they were starting the process. But I don't see any factors measuring drivetrain design, or how much you may have loved or hated any of the choices. Didn't you factor in fun, comfort, unique features on a certain model, brand bias, tailgate design for working around the trailer tongue and jack, handling characteristics, ease of use, or other considerations? A lot of folks like to include resale value too, but I don't consider that in my decisions because I never plan ahead to sell a vehicle.

Good questions, notice i only had 5 options and all but one was Toyota. So I feel i took your points into account to get the list down to 5. We then test drove all 5 of those and then put the CBA together to help make our final decision.
