Hi Axle Guys,

I have a question about TorFlex brackets. To get oriented, please see this Dexter PDF: http://i.b5z.net/i/u/1080235/f/Axle_Measurement.pdf

Dexter offers a few bracket options:
Side Mount Hanger
Low or High Profile
Standard or Reverse Orientation (I've seen this called Inboard Outboard elsewhere)

Now my problematic Perris Pacer has something a little different. While it is of the Reverse Orientation, it has a completely different Offset in the bracket. See how the arm extends out past the right edge? Does anybody know how this is called?

Compare back to the PDF above to see the axle offset is "leftward" normally. I can imagine the "rightward" offset is possible by how you assemble the pieces, but do they do that?

thx,
Billy

I don't know what it is called, but it appears as if they have installed the brackets backwards from standard when the axle was fabricated. Or the arms were installed backwards. Or someone has cut the brackets short.

what you have is possible to do using a Flexride axle because they use a cartridge system, all you would have to do is switch the L for R cartridges then install the axle backwards.
