Looks promising, I've often wondered why we do not have shocks with our torsion suspension? Airstreams have torsion and shocks as well, reason they ride so nice.
Hopefully this new unit will not add too much weight.

The Airflex axles begin at the 6000# level. I just searched more and found the info.
It looks like it would be easy to do something similar with available lighter duty components though.

A number of people have added shocks to their egg trailers. Guess it isn't an important enough mod to be considered an option by the manufacturers. But, folks have done it!

What you say is true, but the Airflex is a hybrid suspension system, while shocks can only mitigate jounce and rebound.
If they only made an Airflex for a 3500# axle... I think it would be the perfect application for a Scamp 5er or even a 16.

Air ride, awesome but as Floyd said the 6,000 starting weight, without even looking any further I know that eggs are to light to make any difference.

Absolutely, but until they make a 3,500# axle (if they ever do), shocks are still an option. Which depending on where one travels, may be a good choice... rather than none.
