electric brakes

Good morning you happy campers. Hello.....new guy about to possibly purchase 1981 17 ft LittleFoot. It comes with a journey, so I am wondering if my question can be addressed. Does this year 1981 trailer comes with electric or surge brakes? I did own a 2018 17 BF with great electric brakes, but not sure how far back they started using them on the older trailers. This baby is going to necessitate a bit of a rebuild which I look forward to, but have to get her home first. Interesting purchase sight unseen, but a very helpful seller with pics and info. If all fails on arrival it will be considered a mini holiday. I trust I will be able to contribute to this happy group as I tune the "Little One" up.
Any thoughts on the matter will be very much appreciated. Riverboy

Most likely the brakes would be electrically actuated. If you have pictures of the trailer tongue the hydraulic brake 'master' cylinder would be there under a large cover. If electric, or no brakes at all, there wouldn't be a box shaped cover right at the ball and tongue.
