Any suggestions on air bags inside thr rear coil springs versus weight distribution hitch.

We just purchased a 05 LD with a honda gen set. The hitch weight maxed out my scale
at 300 lbs and was very hard to lift it without doing damage to my back.

When connected it lowers the hitch 3" and raises the front of the FJ 1"

I am thinking I should load more weight in the rear of the trailer.

The trailer pulls great and the only time I really notice is on a grade and it shifts into
passsing gear.

thanks

I am biased in favor of Weight Distributing Hitch use. My opinion is that air bags are a good augmentation to WDH use, but they are [b]not a substitution for WDH use.
