Is there a 2 person trailer with bath/shower out there that a Jeep Renegade FW 2.4L 4cyl can safely tow? The manual says 2000lbs towing capacity. Thanks!

Filter the total column for 'less than or equal to 2000' and you will get a list of possibilities. Those in the 'Event' column were actually weighed at various rallies, loaded ready to camp. The 'Shared' ones are weights sent in to the creator of the list.

My main concern with Jeep towing would be the towing stability of a short wheelbase vehicle built for off road ground clearance. If it is jacked up and has big off road tires, I would be even more concerned.

What is the max tongue weight on the Renegade? You will have to be more careful with trailer loading with a short wheelbase vehicle.

As to towing capacity, you might want to consider something somewhat lighter than the max to allow a margin of safety.

You will likely have to forego the shower/bath and use campground facilities.

Yes, the Scamp 13' can be under 2000 lbs if you don't heap it full of stuff, and it will tow quite nicely (although with a 4 cyl engine you will not be a speed demon).

Also, there is the Happier Camper, but they are in CA and are too new for very many used ones to be available. Not sure if they can be configured with a shower, but a porta potty is easily added.

Then there's the Weiscraft Little Joe (no bathroom) and Ponderosa (wet bath). Not plentiful, but available by order from CO.

In the used market, you might also come across a 13' Boler or 13' Casita. They are all in the same weight range, more or less. Not many of these have baths, but maybe.....
