Stove wasn't built in (there was a small cabinet to set one on); no fridge or water tank on board. Even so, I would've bought one in a heartbeat, back in 1996 when we looked at them, but my husband said no. We got an older, 16' Casita instead...

Hello,

Sitting in the added tent of my Meerkat. Curb weight is 900 pounds. We pull it with a Toyota Forrester. No problem.

Searched very hard for the lightest we could find.

Other than fiberglass

Take a look at Roulottes Prolite Suite model, fully enclosed with a Dry weight: 590 lbs. Or Taylor Coach 8′ Lil El model, Dry Gross Weight 750 (lbs). Don't put anything in the trailer when pulling it. I mean nothing. Buy your groceries after you have unhitched. You should be okay with the Buick Encore GX 1.3L.

hi
Has weight about 800 or 900 LBs
I have 1988 bigfoot 13 that i am remodeling. i have taken ever thing out of it fridge, stove, sink, etc. Have also stripped it down to bear fiberglass. Have also taken out table and bed and couches. I intend to get a new axle, ,brakes, reinsulate, put table, bed, couches back and panel inside walls. Will not be putting fridge, stove or sink back. Will have more room. So far it has been rewired, sealed up no leaks and new tires. I would sell it has is for $9,000.00 and if i did decide to resell after remodel would be $13,000.00. That $9,000 is today Sept. 26,2020. the price will be going up because i work on it every day and i could change my mind after it gets close to rebuild.
