Here is a link to an article that GM May introduce a new Mid-size P/U with a diesel option at the November LA Auto Show.

Apparently this body is already known as the Nova S-10 in other markets.

Have you seen the 2015 Ford Transit--not the smaller Transit Connect--that will replace the E-series vans (eventually)? It looks like a Mercedes Benz cargo van and comes with an optional diesel. Sorry, I can't get the hot link to post, but you can cut and paste this:

Well . . . I guess I did post the hot link! I imagine it has the potential to shake things up in the Class B and C motor home markets, especially since currently MB has that entire diesel market now.

Am in the market for a mid size so had done some asking around in regards to what GM was going to replace the Colorado with. Although it may make an appearance at this years Auto Show I was told not to expect any on the lots here for at least another year. So that leaves Toyota and Nissan the only two making a midsize currently.

That's very disappointing, at 4" wider than the last Colorado (That's even bigger than the last s-10/Sonoma) the "Mid-Size" truck is morphing into what used to be called "Full Size" while full size pick ups are now behemoths, all to make more money for the mfg's in this, the most profitable part of the business.


Is it no wonder I sold my 2003 Sonoma, with over 150,000 trouble free miles, and bought a ultra low mileage, same size, 2 dr 2003 Blazer for my newest TV.


"New Pick-ups Be Crazy" but I will go to the L.A. show next week to look-see.
