Parkliner Bunkbed
The part you have is not for bunkbed. I made same mistake. That part is used when large table is put down to make bed bigger. When it is used, the hinged part is a support leg.

Thank you for the clarification on the wood part. We will try positioning it in the camper soon next to the large bed.
Are you willing to take measurements of the bunk bed parts so that we can make one?

Parkliner Bunkbed
I am sorry I do not have the skill to measure the many parts. They look to be cut out on a computer programmed wood cutting machine. It goes together like a puzzle. Plus there are cushions that come with kit. If you could pick them up at my home, I might sell kit. This kit was a $ 800.oo dollar option on single wall Parkliners.

Bunk bed
Ethan, thanks for the offer but I am in FL and not planning trips to the north just yet.
We have decided to make our own version of the pre-2017 models. We like the concept of fold and stow the platform into the cubby. The support beams can go into the closet as needed. We will also consider the use of the lower bed without the top bunk being installed.
It occurred to me that sketches with measurements are not really required if paper templates can be created by tracing the wood pieces onto paper. That would be easy to ship to anyone wanting to make a replica of either of the factory bunk beds.

Parkliner Bunkbed
I saw that you are in Florida. Very clever idea for coping parts. I think you have a great plan to make the bunkbed, and you can make modify if needed.

Lift kit
Ethan, thank you for sharing the lift kit part number. I found it in Mercari for $80 and just installed it today. It does get the tires out of the wheel wells nicely.
Have you had any issues with yours?

lift kit
Things I would keep an eye on. Tires, both had lots of budges. They were replaced for free. Wire broke at wire connection going to brake, so one set of brakes wore much more. Angle iron piece that locks gray tank into frame of trailer fell off . This let gray tank drag on road causing large hole. This angle iron is held in place by two bolts on each end. Same bolts are used to hold both rear stabilizers. I was sent new gray tank and angle iron piece. One nut insert was not installed well in frame, so replaced nut insert, added much longer bolts. Made sure cabinet door above stove latches well. Found frying pan on floor, lucky did not crack stove glass cover.

Items to watch for
I did find one of the brake wires popped out of the crimped connection. Maybe while doing the lift kit. I went ahead and removed all the crimped connections for the brakes and soldered the wires together. The wires on mine are not in a wire loom for protection.
The angle bracket is still in there and seems tight. I will check the bolts soon.
The spare tire carrier was loose and the spare too. It is a really bad design. Three long screws through the fiberglass wall with a nut against the wall and two nuts on each to hold the spare. Definitely on my list of future upgrades.
What are the two long screw on the forward side of the tank?

Items to watch for
Great photos. On spare tire carrier. I got more nuts, fender washers that fit the three bolts. Take off tire, take all nuts off, put none hardening sealant around base of all three bolts. Add wide body washer to each bolt. Tighten a nut for each bolt, this will stiffen bolts. Run a nut for each bolt down enough to hang spare tire on bolts, but have enough thread for nuts used as lug nut to tighten spare. This way there is air gap between spare tire and rear of trailer. Hope this helps.

long bolts
They are body hold down bolts . The washers+nuts should be snug, not super tight. That will damage the fiberglass . These nuts should either have lock tight,or be self locking nuts. Bolt heads are found in side bench compartments. Two person job to tighten. One inside, one under tailer.

Thanks! Mine does have a piece of wood that goes in the same place but looks different. In the past I used a tote and piece of wood over it to extend the bed. When I saw your board I thought they might of had a additional section that I was missing.
