Radials v. Bias Ply Tires for 2008 16' Scamp

Anyone have experience with both kinds of tires? We need to replace the tires on the trailer we just purchased as we understand that 5 years is the life span of the tires. We will be doing some light off road mostly at our destination. We frequently go to the desert and drive for maybe 20 miles on graded dirt roads to camp. Does it matter which kind?

My had bias tires when I purchased it. Now have radials & did notice a bit of an improvement when I got the radials.

I like the radial tire much better. Mileage in my case is better, smooth riding and no sway.
Only tire I will buy for my use.
