Rims for a Trillium 4500

The wheels on my Trillium 4500 are on 13" rims. I have heard that Ford Ranger wheels fit, but they are all 15" rims. Can anyone confirm if 15" rims will work, and what tire size they use.

All the "Frod Danger" rims I have seen are 14 inch - its what I have on my Bigfoot 21 trailer. Bolt pattern is 5 bolts on a 4.5 inch bolt circle - known as "5 on 4-and-a-half" They also fit perfectly on Boler 17"s.

Just to clarify, 5 lugs on a 4.5" bolt circle is a standard rim. It shouldn't be hard to find at all, unless you need a unique offset.

Trailer Wheel and Tire Assemblies.

the new trill can be ordered with 14 inch wheel package for "off road"........does anyone know what size the "off road" tire is on the new trills?

i am running st175 13 wagon wheels .i would like to see or try a set of 14" trailler wheels just to fill the wheel wells a bit better..the bolt size is called 5 x 4.5....this is the same patten as ford rangers and a lot of jeeps.

Rangers came with 14", 15" and even 16"...I've got 6 Trilliums and put 14" aluminum ranger wheels on all of them and never looked back...The tires are easier to find and gives a little more ground clearance...Don't think 15" rims would work.... mine are very close fit as is but have never had them to rub yet and I've been over some very rough roads..Here's 4 of mine so you can see the clearance...Note that the 14' rims are harder to find because that were only used a few years and people snatch them up to put on boat trailers and utility trailers..guy at the junk yard told me that they don't set around very long because they can be used on so many trailers....also note that they come in two different styles one is called the Bullett Hole Rims and the other is called the Deer Print Rims

Although they may work in some trailer applications, Ranger wheels have various offsets and most trailer wheels are 0. Also most stock Ranger wheels are 1-2" wider than most trailer wheels.
The Trillium design is open, but these rims might present problems for something like a Scamp.
BTW; It took a moment for me to realize that those who don't recognize the best truck and best truck value ever built, would have difficulty spelling it's name properly!
Without checking, I'm thinking you would have to go back more than a decade to find stock 14" rims from a Ranger.
