I haven't weighed the hitch. I'm very careful about loading and what is in the storage box. I have 2 lithium batteries and some set up and sewer fittings in there. I also keep heavier items in the back and this year will have two bikes on the trailer also. I have an Anderson adjustable hitch and always keep the trailer level when towing. While I have not weighed the hitch I measure the drop in the hitch with a tape measure and there has never been any significant difference in height.
