Tow an egg without windows and door

Hello!
I am wanting to tow my 1983 PERRIS Pacer 400 miles to get it painted by my brother.
However, we have completely removed all windows in prep for the painting.
Will this risk the integrity of the "egg" towing that far without the windows?

Thanks for any advice!!
Still a. newbie at this fiberglass thing - ha.

If the molded furniture is in place then you should be just fine. In fact that would be much better than if the furniture were gone and the windows and door were in place it would be more risky.
I towed a Scamp13 without an interior, it was a pillar of jello and I had to tie the door shut but it suffered no harm over 600miles.
If you tow it a couple miles and see a problem then you might build a frame +- 6ftX6Ft and place it upright inside and tie it off for support.
This is not likely necessary. These trailers can flex a lot, just don't autocross it to the paint shop.
Do you have that big window on the left? You could place a 1X2 vertically in the middle and put a couple of screws through the shell from outside for transport . The tiny holes can be filled in the paint process.
Are you taking the windows and door to install at the paint shop?

Just a thought...when they deliver new boats on trucks, they are "shrink wrapped" from the factory. You can probably pick up a roll and use a heat gun to shrink it. Then just cut it and throw it away when you get there.

Or, if that's a bit more than you want to spend, you can use this stuff, like they do with palletized stuff. It's cheaper than the kit above.

Great, thank you!
The interior is still in place and we just replaced the subflooring. We had planned on towing it back and then installing the windows and doors ourselves.
We might consider the frame just to be sure - great idea!

Thanks Casita Greg!! That is a GREAT idea. I had seen a post on here where someone had wrapped their newly painted Boler for transport home... I think we will look into that. Didn't realize it was so affordable. Awesome!
