Scott gave me Canadian numbers that i reduced by 5% to make them relatively consistent with US numbers. They are subject to adjustment per Scott but a good first approximation.
It is a 2006 with the 1.9L. Honda has a 1.6L in the UK.

Don't you have to reduce MPG (Imperial) by about 1/5 or multiply by about .8 to get MPG (US)?

Gas pumps up here read in litres. My mileage calculator app gives me litres/100 kilometers and MPG (US).
You would really have to go out of your way to convert to imperial gallons, since nobody uses imperial gallons.
Unless specified, I would assume MPG is US, not imperial.

Thanks, I've been looking into this to make sure I know what people mean when they say Canadian mpg. Presently I reduce the mileage by 5%. When I'm certain I'll correct the Canadian readings.

Thanks Bob, I do know the factors. I just don't know if we're talking about liters or imperial gallons.

To use imperial gallons, I would have to use my mileage app, getting miles per US gallons and then use my conversion app to convert US gallons to imperial ( and I'd end up with some fraction ).
Result would be 15 miles per .8326740493104 gal ( or some such ).
I doubt than any of mileage submitted is in miles per imperial gallon.

In Canada, we generally talk miles per gallon ( US ), or more correctly for here litres per 100 kilometers. There is not a pump in the country that measures fuel in imperial gallons. All measure in litres. So, to give you stats in miles per imperial gallon would require the poster to do several conversions and calculations.

I think that the link in #106 also has liters per 100 km to MPG (US)

I contacted Scotty61 and he confirmed Imperial Gallons. The values have been adjusted, still the best numbers.

I have to confess that I submitted in units of IMPG. But I also provided comparable values in USMPG and L/100km, just so that all my bases were covered.

The combo feels great... The only thing you really notice is the extra width of the trailer as you maneuver through tight areas. The car itself doesn't run any hotter than it does without the trailer either, and also has plenty of power for passing when necessary.

Canadian gallons and Imperial gallons are the same. An Imperial gallon is approximately 4.54 litres where a US gallon is approximately 3.78 litres. As an example, 50 mpg Imperial would equal approximately 41.6 mpg US. Hope that helps!
