As long as I am traveling at or above the minimum speed I never concern myself with what speed others are traveling. I drive at a speed that my wife and I are comfortable with. As you know, there are a lot of unsafe drivers out there.

As far as tires: I always run LT (light truck) tires on my travel trailer. They hold up a lot better and are rated for any speed you feel comfortable driving within reason.
