That Pontiac front end does look familiar. Brings back memories. Nice rig! Do you have to use an additive to compensate for the unleaded gas?

Nice looking rig. Do you know where the love bug was made?

I met the guy who designed the Pontiac front suspensions for a time. He had a $ 500,000 motor home but a roll pin on one of his slide drives sheared off. It was a little frustrating for him. A very nice fellow who became an expert witness for Pontiac after he retired from the company.
I always liked the GTO’s back in the day.

I did not know for sure if all of them were made at Tripoli and then after the factory burned , a few miles south of there. I did some research for a forum member a while back and had a nice conversation with the son of the man who bought all of the stuff that didn’t burn in the fire in Tripoli. He self built some for several years in two converted brooder houses. Everything was eventually sold in an auction including the molds which never resurfaced.

Seems like a lot to ask from a pinto, but 15 years! good for you!
